Sara Gilbert shared some exciting news on The Talk this week, she’s pregnant.

Gilbert is expecting her first child with wife Linda Perry, she revealed Tuesday.

She couldn’t have picked a better time to do it, because she found herself in a situation where she had to choose between lying on a bed of nails and having a cinder block broken over her stomach or sharing the news.

It was Face Your Fears week on the show and Gilbert was dared to complete the challenge.

She finally came clean and said that as much as she wanted to face her fears, she just couldn’t.

“I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can’t do the dare because I’m pregnant,” Gilbert said, fighting back tears.

“I feel good, I feel really good…at first I was really tired,” she added.

Gilbert’s cohosts and the audience went wild and it wasn’t long before the news spread and Gilbert’s Twitter page was blowing up with congratulations tweets.

Sara is married to Linda Perry and this will make the couple’s first child. Sara has two other children from a previous relationship.
