Rowan Blanchard, one of the stars of Girl Meets World, came out as queer this weekend via social media.

"In my life--only ever liked boys," she wrote. "However I personally don't wanna label myself as straight, gay or whateva so I am not gonna give myself labels to stick with--just existing."

According to TV Guide, Rowan Blanchard clarified her initial statement in a response to a fan, saying she's open to dating any gender.

In addition, Rowan Blanchard added that she'd like to see Riley, her Girl Meets World character, explore bisexuality. She'd like to see a bigger LGBTQ representation on TV.

Even though she's just 14, Rowan Blanchard is already recognized as a social justice advocate. She has spoken out on numerous social justice issues and encourages others to do the same.
