Raven Symone and Whoopi Goldberg are still coming to the defense of Bill Cosby despite the recent uncovering of 2005 testimony during which the former star of The Cosby Show admitted to giving women Quaaludes so he could later have sex with them.

Whoopi Goldberg, who stars on The View along with Raven Symone, had the following to say about the new evidence against Bill Cosby.

“In America, still--I know it’s a shock--you are innocent until proven guilty,” she said. “He has not been proven a rapist.”

“I don’t like snap judgments because I’ve had snap judgments made on me, so I’m very, very careful,” she continued. “Save your texts, save your nasty comments. I don’t care.”

Raven Symone starred on The Cosby Show alongside Bill Cosby. She was a bit more reserved with her comments, but indicated that she still has faith in the comedian and actor.

“I don’t like to talk about it much because he’s the reason I’m on this panel in the first place, he gave me my first job,” she said. “You need the proof and then I’ll be able to give my judgment here or there. Now that there are more facts, more people can come up.”

Many people have long believed Bill Cosby is guilty of having raped the women who have come forward will such allegations. Some who had held out hope that the Cosby rumors weren't true are now convinced in light of this new detail.

Do you suppose people like Whoopi Goldberg and Raven Symone are simply in denial about Bill Cosby--wanting to believe nothing but the best about someone very near and dear to their hearts?

Or might there be even more information yet to come--some that might exonerate Bill Cosby from many of these accusations?
