Ralph Macchio may be best known as "The Karate Kid", but he's still in the business after more than 30 years of experience. Now, he's passing the torch to his daughter, Julia, who appears in the new film "Girl Most Likely" alongside Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening, and Matt Dillon. The two walked the red carpet together at Monday night's screening of the film.
"She has a little part in the movie she got all by herself – not through me!" Macchio told People.
Julia said she took pains to make sure no one on set knew who her famous father was, because she didn't want special treatment.
"I didn't want any help from him," she said. "It was so much fun and a great first experience. Kristen [Wiig] is so nice, and everyone was so nice. I had one scene, but it was a great experience."
The film is about Kristen Wiig's character, Imogene, who suffers a breakdown after winning a Tony Award and is put into the care of her freewheeling, gambling mother, played by Bening. Julia plays a club-goer, and you can check her out in the hilarious clip below.
