Proctor & Gamble Teaming up with eBay?

There are whispers that Proctor & Gamble will be teaming up with online auction giant eBay in the near future.

Proctor & Gamble representatives were discussing this potential deal at the DMA/AIM net.marketing conference and expo in New York City earlier today.

The unconfirmed deal would allow Proctor & Gamble to use the eBay database and in return eBay would use Proctor & Gamble’s marketing capabilities for their sales department.

If this deal goes through, it could be pretty big news.

This information was revealed just after a Keynotes speech by David Verklin of Carat North America, which highlighted recent changes in the marketing industry.
