Priceline, Zagat Survey Partner

  has entered into an agreement with Zagat Survey, which will provide exclusive online hotel reviews for priceline customers to access for free.

Zagat survey information will cover hotels, restaurants, attractions in the US and some international locations. The Zagat information, along with traveler reviews from priceline customers will feature more than 600 cities and thousands of hotels, restaurants and attractions.

"We believe that Zagat’s survey-based hotel reviews, combined with’s proprietary hotel star rating system and our growing database of reviews written by customers who also have stayed at these properties, make a premier destination for shopping and comparing top-brand hotels and prices."

Under the agreement Zagat will provide priceline with Zagat Survey’s independent hotel reviews that will include numerical ratings for a hotel’s rooms, service, dining and commentary on the property.

The Priceline Destination Guides, Powered by Zagat Survey is an online travel guide with a combination of commentary and reviews from Zagat and priceline customers. It will offer suggestions on what to see and what to avoid. The guide will also focus on a variety of restaurants from inexpensive to upscale.

The two companies also have plans for a Printable Zagat Travel Capsules. These will be city guides emailed to priceline customers who have booked trips to popular travel destinations. The capsules will have Zagat ratings and reviews for restaurants, hotels, nightlife, attractions and shopping.
