Powerball Jackpot Winner Proves 13 Isn’t Always UnluckyBy: Chris Crum - September 27, 2012
Someone in Iowa won the $202.1 million jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing. Interestingly, the first three numbers of the winning combination were multiples of 13, traditionally considered an unlucky number. I guess that’s not the case anymore.
The winning ticket was sold at Casey’s General Store in Bondurant, Iowa. The numbers were: 13, 26, 39, 41, 42, Powerball: 10.
There was a $2 million prize winner in New York, and $1 million prize winners in Georgia, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington.
The jackpot is back down to $40 million, and the next drawing will take place on Saturday night. Here’s a sampling of what people are saying on Twitter:
Imma start playing Powerball I swear! 202 million dollars, whewwww!
If I won the powerball I’d take my brother, sister and dad and we’d all move far away from everyone else! #familysuckssometimes
I’m getting ready to move to Iowa!! They seem to have the most powerball winners!! Bet if I moved there, that would stop!! LOL
Powerball was $200 mill & theyre still trying to fix Americas $$ problem…. Stop letting some loser get $200 mil to spend on stupid shit!

Dangit, didn’t win the powerball last night. Looks like I’m going to work.
Whomever it was from Iowa that won the $200 mill on the powerball, I have 2 options for you: 1) let me marry you. 2) let me marry your kid.
