  • While she might not be the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton is still a “hot topic”. Unfortunately, rumors that she and boyfriend Nico Jackson are engaged have turned out to be false. The two have been dating for six months and reports surfaced that Jackson had proposed in June but that the couple kept it quiet because they didn’t want to “steal the spotlight” from the birth of Prince George.

The denials from their representatives haven’t stopped the rumor mills. The British are expecting her to announce her engagement this Friday. Mirror’s Sunday People had friends commenting on the relationship of Pippa and Nico.

“Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding,” a “friend” told the paper. “She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her.”

Nico’s mother spoke publically about the relationship earlier this year, telling the Daily Mail, “They are happy, and that is all that matters. As long as my children are happy, then I am happy.” There have been no comments from his parents about the upcoming engagement and Pippa’s not talking.

Even more reports have surfaced that Pippa is designing her ring and planning the ceremony at a local church near the home of her parents in Bucklebury.

The couple seems not to be bothered by the rumors. Nico Jackson, a 35 year old stock broker, is not a royal but Pippa doesn’t seem to mind. Even though they have only been dating for six months they have spent a lot of time together including the Middleton’s family vacation in Mustique and vacationing in the Swiss Alps were the two met while skiing at the first of the year. Nico’s parents are the owners of a ski and sportswear shop.

We will have to wait and see if the British will enjoy wedding bells again soon!
