A Nashville couple was sentenced to two years probation after a stripper “took their son’s picture” at his 16th birthday party. The euphemism, “took his picture,” may only be known by a few, and I’m not talking.

Landon and Anette Pharris pled guilty to charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor by hiring a stripper to dance at their son’s birthday party, according to the Associated press. In addition to winning two years probation, the court ordered them to take parenting classes.

The boy and about a dozen of his friends attended the party where 29-year-old Cassandra Joyce Park, stage name “Sassy,” performed at the behest of the boy’s parents. His grandfather was also attending.

Sassy danced for a few hours before the randy group of teenagers took up a collection, raising an additional $150 to convince her to take off her clothes completely.

Sassy and her male companion were also sentenced to probation.

Of course, there’s a stool pigeon in every story. Police were called by a drug store photo developer who saw pictures of the event after the fact. Guess digital cameras and photo printers haven’t made their way to Tennessee yet.

Annette Pharris said she was trying to something special for her son on his birthday.

“We even had grandpa there,” she said.

Grandpa’s recovering from minor injuries and heatstroke. His “nurses” have him on a low impact exercise program that involves lifting dollar bills and a steady oxygen supply.
