  1. Dear Senator Cantwell

In response to your reply on the issues of SOPA , PIPA and the OPEN ACT. We must keep the internet open and allow it to continue to be an informations highway for all American regardless of what of social class one lives in.

I am not willing to go along with any form of censorship and or blacking listng of information provided on the net. The internet is the last stand f…or freedom of information in America, without it the American people are lost to be slaves to those who control the press. President JFK was ahead of his time when he addressed the need for the open debate in America.

I have made my opinions known on these issues for your review. Please take the time to look me up on facebook.com for my posting on this issue and others.

I have provided a review of this issue through those who feel the same way I do about access to freedom of information and the attempt to censor the issues and close the door to the people’s right to share and protest and know about reforms of laws affecting our Bill of Rights and other issues in America. Stop this continued abuse of our Civil Rights and the Bill Of Rights in America !

I am sure regardless of what our elected attempt to do the close the door to openness in the debate they will fail to prevent our resolve. We are 99% who will no longer allow these like issue provent our right to known and respond to the issues affecting us all.

    Respectfully,

    Gregory Dean Lemke
    Advocate of Reforms in America

    Dear Gregory,

It’s simple – we need to protect online freedom of speech. That’s why I oppose PIPA and SOPA.

Washington state has always been a leader in innovation – it shows in the ingenuity of our state’s workers – and protecting our s…tate’s creative work is critical to our economy. But we can’t let anti-piracy efforts trample on an open Internet, stifling innovation and the free flow of ideas in the process.

PIPA and SOPA would use online censorship and blacklisting to try to protect intellectual property, and they would hurt businesses that rely on an open Internet to develop and promote their products. That’s why I’m opposed to both bills and have introduced an alternative.

Stand with me – sign our petition and send a strong message of opposition to PIPA and SOPA!

I joined a bipartisan group of Senators and members of the House in December to introduce the Online Protection and Enforcement of Digital Trade Act (OPEN ACT). The bill would crack down on online piracy while still protecting freedom of speech and innovation on the Internet – which is what PIPA and SOPA fail to do.

Grassroots opposition to PIPA and SOPA is louder than ever, and we still have time to show Congress that there’s an alternative. Click here to support American innovation, ideas, and a free and open Internet!

With your help, we can protect the creativity that’s helped make Washington state and our nation shine, and make sure the paths for ideas and innovation are clear for the future.

    Thanks for all you do,

    Maria
