Online Calendar Could be Big

    February 3, 2006

From Scoble’s blog I followed a link to Thomas Hawk’s Digital Connection and an entry about 30 Boxes, which enters public beta on Sunday.

Om Malik has apprently claimed that 30 Boxes will do for web-based calendaring what Gmail did for web-based email. After seeing it, Hawk agreed: “Sure, as you’d expect you get all the ajaxy eye candy type stuff, but it was the built in social networking functionality that blew me away.” Hawk’s post includes a detailed description and screen shots. I’ll definitely be there Sunday to sign up when the beta goes live.
