  • Olivia Newton-John made the announcement on Tuesday that she will be heading to Sin City this spring to headline Summer Nights, a new show that she will be starring in at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

“I am thrilled to be able to call Las Vegas home for a while,” said the former Grease star. “I have performed here many times through the years and have had nothing but wonderful memories and I look forward to even more fun at the Flamingo. I am especially thrilled that a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.”

Summer Nights will open on April 8 at the Flamingo’s Donny & Marie Showroom, and will entail 45 performances that are scheduled to run through the summer.

Newton-John assured fans that she will be performing her old and new hits, alike, with everything from Grease classics to Xanadu and her own pop hits.

A few of the songs promised to appear in Summer Nights are the Grease favorites “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

Officials from the Flamingo also spoke excitedly about having the multi-award winning singer perform at the hotel.

Regional president of the resort, Eileen Moore, said, “We look forward to welcoming Olivia to Flamingo Las Vegas, where so many other iconic artists have performed. She has such a broad appeal and you can count all of us here at Flamingo among her adoring fan base; she’s the ‘one that we want’ and we can’t wait for her to call Flamingo home.”

Tickets for the show will be available for purchase starting Friday, February 7, at 10 a.m.

Members of Caesars Entertainment’s Total Rewards program will have the opportunity to buy tickets at a pre-sale that will take place from Wednesday, February 5 at 10 a.m., until Thursday, February 6 at 10 p.m.

Ticket prices are $69, $99, and $139. The Flamingo will also offer a special “Meet and Greet” package for $249.

    The schedule for Summer Nights is as follows: April 8 – 12, May 6 – 10 and 27 – 31, July 1 – 5 and 29 – 31, and August 1, 2, 5 – 9, 12 – 16, 19 – 23, and 26 – 30. Each show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
