Tips for Curing Bad Customer Service

Happy employee = Happy Customer

Customer service does not just end with being there for your customers but also for your employees. I hate it when i am in someones place of business(restaurant, auto garage, grocery store, etc.) when a manager or someone else scolds or talks down to another employee or even another manager in front of customers. This is something that all managers should be trained in NOT DOING, and should TEACH to their fellow employees. First off, it makes the customer feel uncomfortable. Then you have just publicly humiliated the employee, who will probably be in a bad mood the rest of the day. Now regardless if they were in the wrong, WE AS MANAGERS or people in charge know there is a professional way of handling the situation. But back to the employee who is in a bad mood. Angry employees and bad service go hand in hand. So keep your employees in line on track with their goals with your company, or treat them bad and expect that bad service to trickle down to your customers aka YOUR MONEY!!!!

Like an old man once told me "A fish always stinks from the head."

Bad customer service usually (but not always) comes from bad or loose management. Thank you for taking time to read this. I am open to any responses or criticism.
