This is interesting. I also

This is interesting. I also read few days ago about the almost 60% cut-off of interenet pricing in EU so the demand on high-speed will increase especially as many businness start to run online now. I however think we should care more about the infrastructure for applying with these demans!

Demand for High band width

The demand for high band width will increase rapidly in the coming years. According to research from Park Associates, in the next few years as the number of households worldwide with broadband will reach close to 650 million by 2013. It also warns that the service providers will have to continue investing in network technologies to accommodate multiple services such as video-on-demand and converging social-networking applications.

We need it

With all the new people coming on the web, speed will have to be increased just to keep up. Now, the problem is they will start charging for higher speeds like AT&T is already doing.

Great News!!

Its a great news for the netizens worldwide :)

However, I think its high time to think about the developing countryies' net users also. Few days back I was in Bangladesh, a third world country where I found internet speed still in its infant state. I think we should come forward to help those people to get most out of this great resource.

Anyway thanks again!

wow!

"The top 10 portals saw about 90 percent of the attack traffic, with more than two-thirds of the traffic likely related to the Conficker worm."

Amazing (and scary) how that virus could have so much control over internet traffic... yikes!
