Yesterday, when meeting, our manager has talk about it,he said the twitter is very useful in some field.
Good message.
5 Twitter Tools to Help You Tweet from Your Desktop
I'll try one or two of your suggestions. I agree with Telly Firefox shareaholic is easy to use and that is the one I use now. I will try the others you have recommended. Thanks for the advice and informative article.
How has Twitter collapse affected these tools
While this is a great list I read on Mashable that tweetdeck as well as destroy twitter were affected by the twitter collapse. Do you still recommend using them
what next...
There are twitter tools..??? really..???.. I must be so behind with internet developments these days...
So why don't I worry about it. Because the hype about it is just the same as anything else people have hyped about for as long as I have been online (12 years). Not worth a fuck... (just can't find any other appropriate words to express myself, sorry)...
Great post
I was always wondering how many AIR based applications there are out there for Twitter. This is a great article putting together all the best of the best. Twitter has a terrible interface - these tools make it much more tolerable.
Great Tools1
I've used two of the tools before, I shall try these as well. Thanks for doing the digging for the top 5 :)

firefox twitter add-on
shareaholic is an add on for Firefox. I know its not a platform for Twitter, like the ones you posted, but its great. It lets you share on Twitter those webpages you are browsing. Maybe you could do an article on these kinds of applications?
To me "great" means that I can understand its use quickly, and begin using it right away.
The list of 5 Twitter Tools was great. Thanks.
Hello Telly, I use
Hello Telly,
I use Shareaholic at my house. I'm a big fan.
Acutally my next "5 Twitter Tools" article was going to be about Firefox plugins... and you can rest assured that Shareaholic will be one of the five.
Thanks for the kind words about my article... be sure to check back every Friday for a new "5 Twitter Tools" article.

Twitterbar
You might also want to include Twitterbar, the FF add-on wherein you can tweet any URL you're at straight from the URL Address box while at the same time inserting text before the URL to come along with the tweet since the URL are automatically shortened using "http://is.gd" shortener for redirects. Very handy and time saving because you don't really need to copy then paste URLs just to shorten it up like some apps do.

Slow news day?
Slow news day?;-)
Seriously, I think Seesmic is the king of the pack. It's not perfect (I, too, hate the Mac look; what is this, 2002?), but the multi-account support and the ability to easily move around columns is a godsend.
Hello Scott, haha No the
Hello Scott,
haha No the news is coming in just fine :)
I agree with you about the multi-account support being a being draw for Seesmic... but I just can't get over how it looks. I think this is why I prefer TweetDeck... just very clean & minimal.
...although I wish TweetDeck had the same "easy moving" columns.
