It's so true that you have to make it easy for customers to buy. If their confused they'll just leave your site & find somewhere else to spend their money.

Customers also need to feel secure when ordering online.

Thanks for the reminder to Use value-related keywords and to make sure our ad groups are targeted and relevant.

Google has some other great search tools.. all you have to do is look and Google tells it all.

you can join words together in your add. Theses nothing you cab do about keywords. Your web design company should be able to help.

Joining Keywords

Join your words together on your Add Campaign. EG:

If you want it to say "Buy Kratom" in the title, you should write "BuyKratom" instead. This normally works.

Google Adwords RIPOFF

I have used adwords for years now and you have to be careful what words you use. Most of my stuff is real niche and I don't have big problems, but I did an ad for some lesbian t-shirt designs I own and really got ripped off.

Adwords charged me for 80 clicks in one week. According to Google Analytics, the site had only 17 visitors that entire week, and only about 7 of those resulted from Google. The rest came from my own links on other sites of mine.

I write Google about them ripping me off and I get back form letters telling me how to use Adwords. They are scamming lots of people. Can't even get a response from a person. What do their thousands of employees do?

Much like Google to publicize so-called "tips" which ignore a most basic aspect of advertising.

Going for "cheap" may work for some products in certain market segments but, crisis or not, a large number of potential customers want quality more than ever.

Cheap lawyer?

I agree using the work "cheap", "discount", etc... are not going to generate quality leads for some industries. Plus is is no always the case for consumers - that they want cheap or discounted services. Take lawyers for example, would you want a "cheap lawyer"?

Great article for my students

Thanks for the tips, especially about taking the time to use negative keywords. I will add that to the SEO topic of my Web Marketing and Design class. Up till now, I've just focused on choosing great keywords. There is so little time and so many good important items to teach to beginning website owners.
