Twitter in one word

INFORMATION

Twitter in one word.

This would sum it up for me.

Life

Twitter in one word

Boredom

would have to be my one word.

Not that it is boring, but it keeps me occupied when I get bored online.

One Word Twitter Meanings...

Awareness.

Whether it's a messge, an event, or something you're trying to "sell" it's all about awareness. Period end of paragraph.

One word for twitter

USENET.

Less latency, less content. Search replacing organization. But USENET.

One word for twitter

Relationship

One word, well sort of:

One word, well sort of: microlivejournal

Twitter is lacking the drama that livejournal had, though. I miss that.

Twitter is to those it isn't to others - get over it!!!

Gee, get over it those who are bagging Twitter really don't need to worry them selves over it, don't use it if it worries you that much and let us who get something out of it use it in peace.

I've been using Twitter for some time now and find it great for information from those with like interests and some of the links passed along the Tweets is fantastic, as they are from all over the world it is great to see things that may not be seen usually.

I'm a teacher of IT and Twitter gains me a lot of material that make students interest in lesson content just that much more exciting.

Long live those who are different and those who are sheep, keep your baaahing to your selves ..... please!

twitter

I'm a newbie and am still finding it difficult to figure out how it will increase traffic to my website. I'll stick with it for awhile to see if something changes.

The one word that Twitter is for me

The one word that Twitter is for me: conversation.

That is what I use twitter for

Useful... which has been said...

I use twitter for work contacts and blog partners but... I think it is also a good tool for other businesses... example... @RizzoTees added me or I added them one, don't remember... but I went to their site to see what it was since I had never heard of the company... cool shirts.. found one a co-worker would like... sent it to him...he bought the shirt... they made a sale because of twitter. :)

AGREE

I definitely agree with your list and don't forget the word SPAMMING!

still trying to get a hang of it.

If you feel its stupid, distracting, boring, etc, then you're not following the right people for you. Try using wefollow.com or twellow.com to find people relevant to follow so its a source of information rather than distraction.

I'm @stephenriley if you'd

I'm @stephenriley if you'd like help as well.

I'm not a user, so I guess

I'm not a user, so I guess I'd end up posting like all the negative guys here. Our gut feeling is, if you can't make money doing it, why get addicted to it? Why spend all day chatting when you could be making big bucks marketing.

Now there is one exception. It has to do with the difference between an SEO and a blogger. One makes money going after targeted traffic through long tail keywords because he knows these are high conversion...the other just wants scads of untargeted traffic that will click through a Google ad and pay his meter fees. If you want a be a Google PPC junkie and get your $10 fix each month, then by all means embrace social media. If you want to make a real living run as fast as you can in the other direction and get into Internet marketing or software development. In 2 months you'll be pulling down 4k a month instead of blogging your life away.

Of course you could always get hired by WPW, write controversial articles, and shoot for CPM. That might work too, lol.

That's what i'd do ;)

That's what i'd do ;)

Twiter in One Word

Unique

This article is about as clear as Twitter.

This article talked about nothing and had no point and no useful information. I still have no idea of what twitter is or how to use it effectively and worse is I have to waste my time reading articels that say nothing. In the future dont waste my time with HYPE content for the sake of staying in touch. This is everybody's tactic and no one can stay up with everyones HYPE releases.

twitter in one word

"TIMEWASTER"

K.I.S.S.

Keep It Short, Stupid.

It's about delivering one thing -- a cross-chat -- and forcing participants to keep it short.

Some still try to go on-- by twittering on and on... I rarely follow those people for long.
