Slow and not useful

I find this tool to be poor in quality, slow to load, and code heavy on the user.

Link scanner is available with free AVG antivirus and internet security . This was first introduced by Mcafee .

LinkScanner and shortened URL's

AVG LinkScanner protects on the basis of content and not URL's so users would be protected.

AVG v Firefox redirecting prevention tool

I too had a bad experience with AVG and a virus and I pleased that Firefox also has introduced an automatic redirection block (Sure others will follow)

On certain pages I now see a Firefox message saying 'Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page' and to view the page you have to click the Allow button So will be giving AVG a pass on this FREE download

Fixed a friend's computer

Fixed a friend's computer once from a virus but as soon as we installed AVG from their CD we purchase online, the computer started to do weird things, it seemed like it had a virus again. I'm not sure if my friend bought the CD from a fake vendor or their anti-virus is just screwy. I'm sorry to say but I'm hesitant to trust these guys too.
