Video Ads

Great research!
Being the owner of a few websites I also feel that online ads are sort of neglected by the visitors.
Should we opt for video ads now? This is what I feel like doing after reading this.
Thanx for posting it here Chris.

it is true for right now,

it is true for right now, but soon as internet user growing rapidly internet advertising will beat TV/Magazine advertising, maybe 2-3 years to come.

I do agree with this .

I do agree with this . As for myself , I never look at online ad wherever they are! But ad on TV , some of it is very impression!

there are many kinds of beautiful and lovely consumer electronics that I like it very much!

Online Display is weak

In the beginning, banners were hot. Then banners were not. They lost their appeal because we can measure so much on the 'net, we saw so little from them. When search marketing came along in 2000/2001, then banners and all forms of disply really looked bad. Only behavioral targeting (in all it's cool forms) is bringing display and banner advertising back to life.

It turns out that "relevance" and timing are the killer apps in ad serving online.
