Driving traffic to your site
Nice post you have a very good point there. another way of sending traffic for websites are watching sites that have the most visitors and investigate what do this site have that drive people to visit it. One of the sites that has lots of visitors are game sites. There are ways to get a share of it's traffic, there are sites that offer games to promote your niche. One of a good example is the www.YourKidsClub.com site, this site offers hundreds of games to promote your niche plus your site get press releases written and sent out all over the web in addition to getting to your local news media.
There are lots of ways to drive traffic... it's better to try more ways to achieve success... Hope this helps.
Face Book and traffic
Not new to marketing on line but new to Facebook and how to drive traffic from it. I am going to make a commitment to learn the in's and out's of Facebook, if anyone got sound advice please don't hesitate.
Facebook
I forgot to mention that my Adsense CTR was also 15%!
Traffic From Facebook
I get a fair amount of traffic from Facebook, but conversions seem very low. Not sure it is good for business.
Too good to be true
It may seem that facebook can drive a lot of traffic - but wait for a few days, or even just one day. they will stop giving you traffic, giving you high bid estimates (that you should comply) so that traffic will still flow... now that sucks. in facebook, you have to look for traffic.. in google, traffic will come to you.
just my 2 cents.
I agree to a point
I have found the opposite jayvee, in fact our cost per click on FB are much lower than google, and yes although they are not specifically looking for our product we are able to speciify our traget demographic. We use Yahoo and Msn muhc more than google as google becomes more and more expensive.
How can I make a commercial
How can I make a commercial Facebook and Twitter page interesting enough for people to want to visit it?
traffic, traffic, more traffic..........
Interesting post........traffic is the backbone of every business. Without it we won't make money online. So, whatever site we have, the most important to to are find the ways to generate massive traffic to our sites.
Just information for your guests: i have amazing ways to generate massive web-traffic. You can find it at my new blog: http://on-mark.blogspot.com
Thanks A lot guy!
traffic
I think facebook and twitter are the best
I agree that using the sites
I agree that using the sites wrong could ruin them.
Now that...
Is a smart way to leverage social networks. More people are spending more time on social networks these days, so it's only a matter of time until it surpases Google as the way of experiencing the web.

no link juice
It doesn't give you any of that sweet link juice though!
Twitter is becoming popular
Twitter is becoming popular day by day and it can generate lot of traffic to your website. Also, its a great tool for seo.
I know that Twitter is
I know that Twitter is becoming hugely popular but I like google more. Mike, regcure license key dude
facebook or google
I agree, twitter gives more traffic and you can create a business profile..unique background and connect with others. Facebook only allows for business ads, nothing more. Google is also a good choice, you can also build a free page when you sign up.
twitter gives better results
I think twitter gives more quality traffic than facebook. In just one month we got more than 1 million visits from twitter alone..
1 million visitors from Twitter?
That's an interesting statement? Is it a hype or a true one? If it's a true one, we would love to feature youin our marketing blog on media monetaziation with Pay Per Deal model and will be happy to give all credits (company profile etc.).
A force cannot be ignored
Businesses cannot ignore the potential of social media. Eventually, they will have to work with the dominant social media providers such as facebook or twitters, just as almost all companies work with Google and Yahoo today.
telugu mp3 songs
thanku face book
That's all well and
That's all well and good...except Facebook won't let businesses have a facebook account. We've tried repeatedly and they keep saying we are not authorized. I contacted customer service and they said businesses are not allowed on FB. The only thing a biz can do is add a biz page to a personal account. So...how do you get around that and get your biz on FB????
Businesses on Facebook
Simple: Create a business page from your personal profile and customize.

The point is to have the Facebook interactive functionality. Why ignore a simple work-around for the sake of principle?
P.S. Learn how Facebook works.
FB possibly good for paid advertising, not sure anything else
In regards to doing business, and being taken seriously, I would only suggest trying the paid ad part of Facebook. There are definitely some advantages to FB, but no matter what industry your business is in, I wouldn't hold so much importance with it.
No way, just now way
No way, just now way Facebook will ever match Google's search traffic quality. Who cares about traffic if it doesn't convert? The best Facebook can do is get anywhere near Google's Content Network - that's it. People don't use Facebook as a search engine, and they just won't - it's the Google vs the rest of the world question again.
The situation now with Facebook is that you will get traffic of a worse quality than Google Content Network, and will pay for it like you'd pay for moderately competitive keywords in Google. The ROI is plain ridiculous.
No way, no how will FB catch up with Google. The whole idea is quite quixotic when you think of it.
I can see Twitter eating
I can see Twitter eating itself when the mega marketeers finally get hold of it.Already I am getting request from 'I can make you millions' merchant following me and expecting ti be followed back....

Posted comment about new Lahaina Maui listing. Spoke about cute plantation short sale and had agent write an offer the next day.
Facebook ads
They are still new and in the future will becomes a real threat to Google.
Already Google is not much happy with facebook strategies.
Tissa's people Search engine is the new hit on internet
Internet Marketing
We use all kinds of Internet marketing and from my experience Facebook brings more qualified leads than Myspace and Twitter combined. A Favorite of my is the Twitter app in Facebook!

Tattoo flash, equipment, etc. anxiety & depression
I joined facebook first because I got invited by some friends. I gave my link, included a tattooed picture. We immediately started seeing traffic from facebook, so we also put in an add. We are seeing more people from facebook every day. I like it and I think they have a better way of targeting visitors because of the information they ask for when you join.
Facebook vs. Google
I wouldnt be so sure that you are entirely correct. While Facebook may be potentially bringing more traffic it also requires a lot of time to build up, while google does it on its own. So if you have an hour to dedicate each day, wouldn't you rather work on your content than splitting the time working on the content and then messing with FaceBook?

Chimbles
