I wonder if the increase in visitors is at the expense of a decrease in printed paper sales. Many times when I think about buying a 'real' paper I decide to just look it up on the web for free.

it is not too hard to see how they will capitalize on this traffic: adds and paid accounts, with articles only for members, also the archive. and this will probably be only the first step, and they will come up with smth else in the mean time.
