Curious about the feedback

Now that the trend is to build an all-in-one device, it's pretty strange to see that they decided to build a social media thing that's not a phone... i'm sure they can build all those apps for an iPhone .... or any other smart phone. Now the customers will decide, let's wait and see how they react...

Yeah twitter is on fire but

Yeah twitter is on fire but I found most people on their lame snobs and I don't use it much. I got over DIGG along time ago.I'm waiting for the real 3.0 sites to come one the scene won't be long now ;)
Let's build IT :)
Always glad to catch your emails and I love this site and appreciate it stumbled the front page and not this Thanks again

RE: Curious

They're really playing up the angle of using skype and making free calls.

it's not a phone...

Well, the thing is, this isn't a phone at all really. Sure it's capable of VOIP calls via WiFi, but that is not it's primary function. As a mobile platform device though, I have to say that's a pretty nice add-on type feature.

I agree

It's just not different enough and does not offer enough new functionality to outweigh getting an iphone or blackberry with a contract.

yeh but...

it looks like a cool phone but its only got 256mb of memory, looks bulky, and has the Google Android mobile OS. I don't see this going anywhere. I mean how is this different than the Google Phone in its functionality. I think people have become accustomed to contracts and to break a contract is about the same as the cost of this phone.. I would rather have an iphone than get the benefit of no contracts..
