Google still can't (or won't) handle the sitemap.aspx file for some reason. I wonder why?

Yes they do handle this, submitting an xml sitemap from asp.net (sitemap.aspx) works great.

All you have to do is make sure that there are no spaces or returns before the xml starts.

Good to hear this. Not that it was such a big deal to begin with but for the newbies out there this might help them somewhat.
