Great article. We have been caught up in the speed of things for a long time. Everything has had to become faster and more efficient - and now google is pulling in the other direction.
There is no longer an easy way to accomplish high rankings - we are now "forced" to slow down and think when doing SEO. This is so great, because it will definetely rub off on the rest of our lives as well.
So thanks google for making the slow life possible again :-) We may even see fewer stressed people as a result.
Merry christmas to all, and remember - 2009 is the year of possibilities!

Hmmm....I am not surprised SEO has been mentioned a couple of times for the past year! In Singapore, one of the most discussed are the terrorists bombings in Mumbai.

Truly this year was a challenging for all of us, and let's not hope the worst to come.
Anyway, it's still nice to know that this year has brought us very useful information. I think I should have left a comment on the Google Answers post when it was published. That was a good post to end all opinions about PR, and I should commend you for that.
