Google still has not done much with this, I wonder what they are planning to do with this site?

Google is very smart

Google is very smart company, they buy something for 1 000 000 and then they make 1 000 000 000 000 ;)

I guess Google wants to provide more and more services and this move must have some marketing purposes.It sure didn't help being the largest search engine and can't search news archives so a wise move here by Google that enables it to reach new users and advertisers.
