I agree. I was hooked on MTV all the day, I even used to watch over 5 hours a day of it, and the weekends, well it used to be on all day. And now? Well, I haven't watched it at all for over, umm.. 6 years.

MTV sucks (badly). The amount of "crap" that the channel shows is utter rubbish. What ever happened to keeping it simple?

MTV hasn't been kind to Al

MTV hasn't been kind to Al for a few years now. They used to play his ALTV when he came out with a new album. Now Al has to use VH1 instead.

This censureship is absurd. But aren't a lot of these sites mentioned now "legit", paid for services or at least pay for song services? I think the real reason might be greed. Does MTV or Viacom have web sites that sell music themselves?

I was MTV's biggest fan, watched from day 1...then the music videos stopped! I can't believe they would censor those 4 words, and air all the other crap without thinking twice.

MTV.....geez

I'm old enough to remember when MTV was interesting.

I, and my friends, didn't stop watching because we got old - we stopped watching because the quality just isn't there anymore, and hasn't been since the mid 1990's.

Teenagers I know turn their noses up when MTV is mentioned....I don't know what keeps them alive.
