Google Yahoo deal not legal based on Google biz practices
My opinion is that the Google Yahoo deal is not legal based on Google's historical anti-competitive business practices. Google made a deal with Echostar DISH Network which effectively excludes traditional TV advertising agencies from buying individual network air time over DISH satellite system. I wonder if these secret deals will carry over to other media that Google may be involved with? Additional anticompetitive activities could be part of the future Google business plan if this a valid report. Other developments in media: Comcast excludes TV agencies from advertising their services over Comcast TV networks. Is anyone aware of these developments in media? Is anyone doing in-depth research anymore? Isn’t this Restraint of Trade? Can any media lawyers comment on this deal? My fear is that these unethical activities will ultimately result in a contraction of commerce as media rates increase and opportunities decrease.
Google & Yahoo - Search Engine Giants - Business Killers
This is my 4th webiste and everytime i register with google I find that they have increased their prices, strategy and more money grabbing schemes. I am a new online printers and the rates of £1.50 per click is daft as it means it would cost me an average of £150 per day per 100 clicks. Most of which are worthless and just people browsing.
If they want competition and to dominate the search engine trade, they should lower their bids which will force others to do the same. Like eBay, they dominate the trade and dont need to have high daft prices to be rich. Sell cheaper and get more bsuinesses signing up and increasing their daily budget.
My first site was closed after 6 months because google and yahoo cripled my finances which i think you will find that most startup online businesses have gone bust for the same reason.
Like all industry giants, they will fall and criple when people have had enough and use other sources. Then what? Lower your rates? I dont think so, now is the time to lower rates. £1000 a month for £15,000 worth of business is not cost affective or business sense.

Really can't see why anyone would be interested in obtaining YAHOO...For over the past 5 years yahoo has made so many changes (for the worst ) . Plus so many area's of yahoo inaccessible to users and believe more and more online chatters simply no longer using yahoo.

And such new generation "planned" overproduction of the goods was called as communism.
The one who did not trust in the term of reasonable consumption appeared in 30х years 20го centuries the enemy of the people, and in 60 years in an inactive part of the population which should be re-educated the next 20 years (Hrushcheva N.S.'s slogan) or Gorbachev M. S («to each family separate free apartment»). It is interesting, that Moscow continues to live under this slogan and in 2008.
Let the separate childless colony, consisting of 100 young healthy men and women, has lodged on a separate desert island area S. It so was successfully divided on «I» different groups, that groups could will provide all a minimum of industrial and agricultural products, sufficient for a survival. It is clear, that if all of them together will start to search for meal or to try to make it separately the most part from them will be lost through pair days. Therefore and during prehistoric times the primitive person of a tribe spent "savings" more for the "industrial" goods, than on a foodstuff unlike a monkey which will not organise any manufacture and only climbs trees in search of apples, bananas, other vegetables and fruit.

For distribution of a foodstuff equal in rights in a hungry colony the overwhelming majority "will vote" and at not consent this surplus will steal both in the morning and at night. The village will aspire to increase manufacture on all areas while all inhabitants of village are hungry and all country is hungry, and all surplus will be taken away on a voluntary basis of countrymen after the strengthened propagation about struggle against hunger.
Also it is visible, that the total price volume of the industrial goods in any way cannot be counterbalanced by the agricultural goods.
In too time progress in manufacture of the goods of "industrial" sector will lead only to that at separate progressing groups time will be released, free from work on all colony if they do not want to increase piece quantity of the goods.
Or they will want to store the goods.
Surplus of the industrial goods as a result of progress can lead at progressing group of people to the raised consumption of surplus of other goods, other progressing groups as a result of barter between them.
Commodity-money relations in Russia of 1922 have been broken by the periods (экспроприаций) civil war, therefore it was required wild НЭП (New economic policy) with food-cards for working class and new administrative elite. The village remained without cards on the industrial goods and died out or ran up in cities. Horse Bolshevist Russia should disappear from an earth card, but has gained the tractor invention, each of which has replaced one hundred horses and ten families of grain-growers.
At last the moment will come when surplus of the industrial goods in separate sectors of economy will collect so many that it will not need to be consumed all consumers. Where to put such surplus? Certainly - to export to other countries and to exchange or for the new goods which are not made at, or to exchange for the goods which does not suffice for the best standard of living. A conclusion: the countries, stopped industrial output export are at survival level. And what to tell about the countries, stopped industrial production because of acts of nature, wars? It is the country which are not making an industrial output for a survival not only the state, but also its population. And its example is Tajikistan in January-February, 2008.

Not qualified, nonmechanized, changeable work (and consequently deprived of possibility of conversion training on the basis of new technologies) immigrants can become a serious obstacle on a way of modernisation of work to building, agriculture and animal industries. Good! Google is Gobbling up everything in site. It is UNNATURAL for a company to amass so much power-- and still want more ??!@ are you kidding me. They are looking out for Google, not to be a better service for you and me. Google is getting more and more like the bully Microsoft got to be until they were swatted down. Now Microsoft limps around with it's tail between it's legs. Sometimes I miss the 'ole Microsoft.
On anther note, how man jobs has Google displaced? Imean if I'm a newspaper advertising agency or soemthing, how has Google affected that? It's not made it better I can assure you of that. We need the power to go back to the people instead of google rnning the show. Try to come up with something snazzy and see if Google doesn't try to out do it.

IMHO, that puts the nail in Yang's coffin. The guy gave the cold shoulder to Microsoft with the rationale that he could make more money for the company by doing an ad deal with Google. Guess he forgot to check on the antitrust implications. The Yahoo board has no choice but to fire Yang and go back to Microsoft hat in hand to beg for a much lower price than Microsoft offered only months ago. Hugely bad move for Yahoo. But I think those of us who purchase online ads are better served by a Yahoo-Microsoft combination as a counterweight to the market dominance of Googe.
