eBay To Implement Global Ban On Ivory Sales

Effective January 2009

It's About Time

As strict as eBay is, I'm very suprised that they ever let ivory items be sold there in the first place.  eBay is at a point now where they won't even allow the sale of firearms parts any more.

I'm not an animal rights activist, but I do think that restricting the sale of invory  will impact the demand. With the global reach that eBay has, they can definitely impact the sales.
