About $15 Million blogger interview

Really unique news. No sooner I read the news I can not stop myself to post a comment. I think the record has been created. Keep it up.

YOU DESERVE IT -- MUCH MORE IS ON THE WAY!

Hey Johns,

Am really elated to see this news! Finally it is your hard work that has paid off. Under your valuable guidance I was able to write content for this site Bankaholic.com.

Friends, I would like to tell that Johns has actually worked very hard on his blog.

I am sure he would be having something unique up his sleeve for the future as well.

All I can say is GOOD LUCK JOHNS, GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Cheers,

Seems a bit much for that

Seems a bit much for that blog. I can't see how anyone could justify paying that much for it unless the figures looked right to them (which I highly doubt). Johns with an S is his first name? Anyway congrats to him.

Johns FOCUSED and we should too

I agree with you 100%. Johns FOCUSED and achieved a lot of result for it. Most people don't focus; instead they work on a gazillion things and don't put enough efforts into all of them. I am scratching my head and wondering when and how I too will be as focused as Johns. I know if I do, I can achieve something like this too, especially we all CAN, if we will but focus and channel our energies into one or just a few things. Imagine working all day and night for 2 years on JUST ONE BLOG. It surely will get top rankings!

I do not think that $15 million is too much bankaholic blog. I believe that there are other blogs that would worth than $15 million.

Way to go Johns! It would be interesting to see how he made money initially off his blog in the early days.

Unbelievable!!

Hi, I was like wow when i saw this report. But we must not forget luck and hardwork can bring good fortune.very nice blog indeed. The PR and traffic is also high.. Good sale IMHO.

Its money time!!!

Congrats Johns for the sale and to webpronews for the interview but the one thing that is bugging me is the valuation.

How did the blog came to be valued at that particular price.?

Any particular metrics to be taken care of. Would love some light on this issue?

RE: Its money time!!!

I actually contacted bankrate and asked them about it and tried to get a hold of Wu again, to get a little more insight into the negotiation process, but I have not heard back yet.

$15 Million for that blog hmm

Seems a bit much for that blog. I can't see how anyone could justify paying that much for it unless the figures looked right to them (which I highly doubt). Johns with an S is his first name? Anyway congrats to him.

RE:

Yes, his name is "Johns".
