Online Gambling

In fact, if anything, online casinos encourage people to visit local casinos so they boost the local economy if anything.

Of course it's easier to shut things down instead of trying to understand what they are about.

Hypocrisy

At least those who believe all gambling is horrible, practice what they preach. However, this clown takes hypocrisy to a new level.

I'm glad I'm not a lawyer. I'd have to try to explain how this could possibly be legal.

now ?

They see it now?  so much care all of a sudden always makes me concerned !

2 Domains have already been transferred

What gets me is that there are already 2 domains that I can see that have

a.) been shut down

b.) had their whois data updated to show that they are now owned by the KY Commonwealth

The two domains that I spotted were highrollerslounge.com and luckypyramidcasino.com

These domains are being seized, even before the official order has been given.

Even if this is a stunt, it is goiong to cost very many of the companies a great deal of money in lost revenues and administration fees. For some companies, like Bodog, this is the second time that they are having domain issues.

That is crazy, thanks for

That is crazy, thanks for sharing...

Why?

These states will do anything to protect their wallets.  Overseeing Internet related gambling is not the responsibility of a state, but rather the federal government.  This should prove to be interesting if someone decides to fight the governor in court.

What Steve Beshear wants to

What Steve Beshear wants to do is absolutely ridiculous.

Wrong Bill #

HR 2460 is the Federal Energy Price Protection Act. The bill you're referring to is HR 6870, the Payments System Protection Act.
