Narcissm on Facebook
I have seen such profiles where the peoples pictures are ridiculously over done and have often wandered why they would post such ridiculously overdone self portraits of themselves..so the term narcistic is the one that may fit the reason why they do such things.
As a webmaster I have often wondered if my posting my links to each blog post was going too far in attempting to raise common interest in them from my friends and othrs who can view the links. I get a lot of feedback on the links generally from those who really enjoy reading the information. I look at my activities as being beneficial for myself and for my contacts as I am interested in networking and promoting as well as in friendship. I try to speak with everyone in my contacts at least a few times to try and ge to know them and from there I can decide if they are someone I can really develop a hopefully lasting friendly relationship.
