There are 2 problems with
There are 2 problems with this.
The first is that the new format has turned users away from Yahoo. Users complained through the feedback section to get Yahoo to stop hiding the articles, but Yahoo turned on its user base and deleted the comments instead of fixing this travesty.
The second problem is that so many blogs are funded by right wing groups and all contain the same old hate-filled content that Americans voted against in the last election. That makes the Yahoo blog links irrelevent and gives an extraordinary amount of weight to the extremists who write these blogs.

It is good to see Yahoo joining in and recognizing that blogs are a driving force in the news industry.
Google just redesigned their Blog search page to match the popular Google News as well. Things are looking up for news bloggers.

I was raised by a very liberal democrat. This bais media is rediculous. Where are all the comments about Biden. Where are all the harsh questions about how his personal ideas compare with Obama's. Obama is running for president not vice president. So we as a country will be electing someone as president. We are not addressing this fact. Yahoo news makes it sound as if Palin was satan here on earth and that no one believes the smoke coming out of her mouth. Where is the real ideas being addressed. Compare and contrast each canidadate and where they stand on the issues. I hope someone decides to address both sides equally or all the media is doing is stacking Mccain's deck. Even I at this time am completely ashamed of how a woman who has accomplished so much is being so unfairly hammered by the media, while Biden hasn't even been so much as interviewed.
McCrook and his choice for VP
Remember the Keating 5 Scandal where taxpayer money was used to bail out the private saving and loan shark companies? Once a crook always a crook. And his choice for VP is to open Alaska for drilling. Instead of a drunk boat captain ruining the prestine area it will their special interest groups at taxpayers expense. Remember the energy crunch of the 70's? American taxpayers paid for the Alaskan pipeline. And where does all of the oil go. Not to Americans. McCain is Bush in another man's skin.

Yahoo! News Getting Redesign, Good for Blogs
Regarding the question to include or not include bloggers in Yahoo! News results, I have a serious bias to include.
As editor for one of the top antiques news sites in both Yahoo! and Google and that same site being within the top 10 on Google for just the single word antiques, I find it amazing that this same site cannot be found as a relevant news resource within Yahoo! News. A major concern for many who contact me searching for news and information regarding antiques and collectibles is where can someone go as a comprehensive resource.
Just maybe the folks at Yahoo! are taking note and making changes that their end-users desire. I surely hope so!
