Joost
Frankly, I have never even heard of it. I have been watching clips online using all the others listed for years, but Joost was a complete unknown. I went to their homepage and I didn't like that sexuality was promoted so blatantly.
Joost = Windows
Joost = Windows Only!
Something that seems to continue to be overlooked is Joost's insistence with not supporting any playback platform other than Windows XP/Vista. IT does not work in VMware either. I have tried.
Notice that Hulu, YouTube, etc. don't care what OS/Browser (within reason) that you use. It just works! Congrats to them. It is no surprise if Joost dies a slow and quiet death with the download-our-plugin-for-Windows-only mentality.
You will notice that even (MS)NBC dropped silverlight streaming after the Olympics were over. I understand that it was the NFL that stipulated the change to Adobe Flash but at least they have their heads screwed on straight.
