All in all, indications are

All in all, indications are that employment will deteriorate even more rapidly in the near term. The current HWOL data indicates that labor demand was down in September even before the tumultuous events in the financial sector during the end of the month.

Employment

Whoa!  A 14% drop in employment is staggering.  It doesn't appear that the news is that it rose slightly.  The big news is that online employment is plummeting!

Types of Jobs

Are most of these jobs customer service/sales jobs?  I wonder what types of jobs saw the biggest growth.
