Could make Nintendo #1 game maker over Sony

This trend has continued for August as well and Nintendo just raised their sales forecasts again. Not only that, these high Wii sales could make Nintendo the number one maker of gamers instead of Sony for the first time in 13 years.

I believe the Wii has staying power for two reasons. 1. Its affordability 2. Its broad appeal. Everyone either has a Wii or is trying to get their hands on one. Young, old, male and female alike all have fallen inlove with the Wii.

Do you think perhaps the Nintendo Wii's numbers would have been far higher had their supply not been so limited? It seems there is still a problem with Nintendo meeting demand of not only the consoles to retailers, but games such as the Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii are still in tremendously short supply.
