Schmidt: Mobile Ad Revenue To Outdo Traditional Types

It’s all about the targeting

Google Android on T-mobile phones

That's why Google launched it's open source platform called Android. Android levels the playing field for cell phones becaue the mobile os acts like your laptop or pc. Most cell phone carriers use their own OS for cell phones which make it harder for advertisers to place adds on mobile websites.

Later on this year they should be releasing the mobile OS Android on T-mobile phones. Personally I'm a fan of the windows mobile platform, but I would like to have the same functionality on my cell phone as I do my laptop.
