There are many cool 404's appear last year. But I think that really hard to decide what should do - create useful or funny 404 page

This time, google's behavior to China is very disappointed. I wish it were profit-driven, since google china didn't make a lot of money now, but unfortunately, that's not true.

I find the best way to deal with this is a customised 404 error page. http://www.ssrichardmontgomery.com/missing.htm is the one on my site, (copy & paste url into your browser) hopefully you should never see this page (ok rarely) but when you do gives the user many options what to do next.
