Paypal is a sham.
"eBay is not safe! PayPal is not safe!"
I agree 100%.
Paypal's setting up of a "special fund" to compensate buyers affected by this eBay sellers non supply of goods proves conclusively (to me anyway) that the so called $20,000 protection is a hoax. If the $20,000 protection does exist why is there a need to set up this "special fund"?
PayPal is a sham
"Those who used PayPal, eBay's payment service, should see refunds courtesy of a special fund set up by eBay to address the situation"
Why only those who paid by PayPal? eBay should compensate all buyers! eBay continues to let this seller keep trading for months after being reported for non-delivery of items.
And why a "special fund"? This proves that PayPal's so-called "buyer protection" is a complete myth. If PayPal offered real protection, it wouldn't need to set up a "special fund" to compensate buyers.
In their attempt to force Paypal onto eBay users, and this proof that PayPal's so-called buyer protection doesn't really exist, they have basically made trading on eBay unsafe.
eBay is not safe! PayPal is not safe!
