So much for slow turnarounds

Great!

This is pretty cool. It definilty helps out when your in a big city like Chicago and need to get around and don't want to pay for a cab.

Is Google's Walking

Is Google's Walking Directions also available for other countries than United State?

Walking directions in Europe

Yes, I have used the walking direction feature to get around in Frankfurt and it work alright. Quite often there are no side walks if you are using it in more a rural setting. It doesn't seem to make use of the massive amounts of bike/walking trails that exist between the more rural German towns. I just tried it to get around Poppenhausen and all I can say is FAIL. It has you walking up a major road with no side walk rather than on the walking trails that are safer and faster for pedestrians.
