I will be a long time before
I will be a long time before we have the perfect search you can forgive Google for not always getting it right
Human addition
Along with all of the above, I would love to see some more "human" input for important and frequently spammed keywords. Not expecting to see another Majalo but some human input would help keep the spammers away and maybe allow the sites that truly deserve top ranking to get there without spending tons of money on SEO just to game their rankings. Then the playing field will truly be a lot more equal.

Google indeed is top of the class
I still remember just 10-15 years ago that when you typed in something to search for, you would get something totally unrelated to your search. Back then, I did not care but was just fascinated to see new websites. Now days it is different. I want instant satisfaction. Google 99% of the time gives that to me. They are on the ball because of one phrase I would like to say. Attention to detail. They pay attention and key on the details. That's why I think they are awesome.
10 - 15 years still yeilds non rlated searches
For instance when I type in "web Hosting" what do you get?
I get 781574 sites about reviews for web hosting not the actual companies, I did not type in "web hosting reviews" so why are they still popping up?
Googlegods are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Without a doubt Google is the best thing since sex was invented. Wait.....can you guys improve that too?

Thank you Doug for a great article!
although unfortunately,
although unfortunately, Singhal's in-depth discussion didn't extend to any upcoming features.
Anything new lol there always good at stating the obvious at what they have achieved then slap you in the face with amazing features which in a way I'm happy with when compared against other companys such as Microsoft promising what they can never deliver.
I'll happily await Googles new toys :)
