What utter bullshit. I asked people for help for the book. They generously gave it in full knowledge that I am writing that book; that's why I asked. I forced no one. This is an insulting accusation and Cushman should have known better since he works for a publisher that quotes people all the time. You qouted me wthout permission. That is because I spoke in a public place - the internet. Give it up. Nonstory.

 

Calm Down

 I think you need to calm down Jeff.  I mean, come on mate, Jason included your response that the comment posters did know you were going to use the material, so there you go.  He was simply using this instance as an example of the debate that is already taking place and doing a pretty good job of not showing any bias.  In fact, I'm not even sure which side of the argument he falls on.  That's good journalism.

 Good point about the web being a public place though.  That's certainly how I see it.
