for a company that does no marketing, the only real growth will come when they team up with manufacturers and get it on as the browser by default.

There was nothing in the press in Australia, and this is only the second place I have even seen reference to 3.0 being released.
I expected a higher market
I expected a higher market share for Firefox than 19% after the successful launch of Firefox 3. Looking at the current market domination for Internet Explorer and Microsoft, it looks like any improvements made by rival brands will be slight at best.
