Youtube is mammoth
Youtube is simply so big and so well funded and marketed virally that most of the other video websites don't stand too much of a chance competing unless they can drastically overhaul services and offering something entirely new and unique. Ultimately, anything unique and useful online is generally snatched up by Google.

But its giving consumers choice which is a gd thing
So as long as they dont start putting to many restrictions in place.
