I'm not sure about the buying links from brokers advice. Google penalizes for it and they have a place in their webmaster tools for any webmaster to report the purchasing of links. That means one of your competitors can turn you in to google for buying links resulting in a hefty penalty from google. That's chilling. Everybody has to decide how much risk they are going to undertake in the marketplace but buying links is one I personally stay away from.
