bought time they coughed up, if we used their brand to atract people to our site you bet id get a knock at the door !

Hand It Over!

You would have thought that they would have considered paying these things upfront, lest they didn't want the RIAA involved. But it doesn't just end there. It's not just ASCAP that has to get paid, It's Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) , SESAC, The Society for European Stage Authors and Composers and CCLI Christian Copyright Licensing International if they were using any Christian related songs.  I would have though the execs would have considered the issues at heart here.  This is going to be ugly because as soonas ASCAP gets paid the others will also want their entitlement as well.
