Comcast Not Attending FCC Hearing

Can't find a good reason

Cable VS. Satellite

I read one of your articles regarding how the FCC wasn't planning on doing anything to help the cable companies out, and they just expect everyone to convert to digital while cable remains light years behind (Or something like that).

I like how you state that "Cable is going to take it's ball and go home." Like I stated before, cable companies have no one to blame but themselves.  They were the "big dogs" not too long ago, when most people had no choice but to pay their high prices, because satellite was less popular, and seemed to be too much of a headache.   Then, I was a loyal cable subscriber, and would'nt have it any other way...Times have changed.  Also, love the Cartman pic!

comcast refusing to supply cable card for tivo

I have new tivo hd.  comcast  says cable card /cards  not available in my area.  I was under impression FCC mandate says they HAVE to supply cable cards.  Comcast HD just became available in our area couple weeks ago...Any one I can contact above normal "customer service" people that just keep reading the line"not available in your area"?  any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.  thank you..
