Not for competitive keywords
The jist of the post is good, and the steps needed are great, but the results are unlikely. By defauly, blogs are tougher to rank than static pages, and most websites are still filtered in searches to start, so unless the domain has been live and indexed for a significant time, 30 days is unrealistic unless it is for an easy 4 work phrase.

This is crucial in order to get the right type of links to your website. During the initial building and content phase, it is important to limit any ads.
Once the website generates considerable popularity and traffic, work to slowly add ads in a tasteful manner.

Getting our site ranked has been hard
Getting our site ranked I think has been extremely tough. We are running Google Ad words and have a great Blog along with a fair amount of traffice. Our site went live August 29,2007 in the month of March 2008 we hit 9,234 hits for that month is that consider to be good traffic or should our site drawing more traffic? This site is a classifieds site so there is a ton of competition in this field.

I can appreciate item #3, but have in the past made attempts to do just that and give the site an extra charge - and had it back fire with users leaving over the controversy. You have to watch political view points as they can divide a user base quickly.
