Watch Where You Put That Ad

Google is watching your ad placement

Google and adsense

I think its true you do get alot of crappy sites such as blogs with no real quality content which just clog up the internet.

Its down to hard work and steady link building continually, where there iss traffic there is usually $$.

ome of my better sites get lots of traffic but have low paying adsense niches, while others get a smaller amount of traffic but make more money per click.

Web publishing is not easy and google keeps us all guessing???

If you looking for a UK puppy why not give http://www.pupmart.co.uk a try :0)

March was a record month

I have 4 sites, 3 related to pets and 1 related to fashion.  I was extremely surprised to have a record month in March 08 smashing any adsense earnings in the 2 years I have been running adsense ads.  I also had about a 30% increase in traffic as well during March.  I have no idea why this has happened.

I have learnt over the years that content, meta tags and page urls all help in keeping me at the top of Google and Yahoo and MSN. Search for Pets for Sale and you will see BellaUK.com in the top 10 or 20. On Google.co.uk search for belt loops and you will see eFABE.co.uk in the top 10.

I am still a real novice and my websites are very basic, the main thing is, visitors can find them.

I believe the search results shown are more related to the websites shown than in previous years.  However, on several ocassions my site disappears completely from Google and re-appears a month or two later.  I have never really understood why this happens.

I make sure I exchange links with sites that are related to my sites content and not just any site that requests a link exchange.

It seems I am very fortunate with my adsense earnings which can be anything from $6 to $20 per day. Without them I would struggle to keep going as people dont seem to want to pay for advertising anymore. Most of the ads on my pet websites are FREE.

If you would like to check out my sites, here they are:

I am quite new

I am quite new with adsense and don't make much from it. Only about 0 to 0.10 cent per day. Very pathetic.. However, i am still trying and hoping that miracle could come one day, not because i am too much relied to adsense, it is just that i wanted to see, is it true that people could really make that much money such as shoemoney and Joel Comm. Maybe my google ad placement doesn't really good or is it because of my less visitors. See my page at

"... not even bothering to browse......"

I don't run adsense or any other ads on my site so little to comment on there but I am interested in your proposition that people simply are not looking at the moment. Economic conditions would be a reasonable excuse  given all the "gloom and doom" in the news recently.

We have seen a drastic decline in traffic (and sales) during March from both natural clicks and Adwords ( and this despite increasing our budget and increasing the times shown from c. 14 hours per day to 24). Impressions for search and content also appear to be falling suggesting that people are indeed not looking.

Perhaps, this has to do with  our business - retail jewellery (and luxuries are always the first to be hit)- but I would certainly be interested in other's experiences and thoughts.
