Report: Online Ad Spending To Increase

Percentage same as Michael Jordan's old number

More Immune to Swings

This calculation makes sense. The Internet is more buoyant and resistant to swings and economic forecasts. I believe this is due to the sheer speed in which companies can build and launch online, as well as the lack of appreciable overhead in the material sense as compared to a brick and mortar company. Particularly, ad-based sites seem to be the most immune, since busineses seem to substantially step up adverising on those types of websites when times are tough. When the economy is doing great, those companies continue to spend money on advertising.

who is the "us" and "we" in

who is the "us" and "we" in all of your articles? Are you speaking for a team of analyts or is this your analysis? If it is yours then it is ok to say "I" and "me" otherwise disclose who the team is.

It makes us nervous. ;)

Ha

Ha, sorry. A lot of style manuals discourage use of the first-person "I," so unless I'm writing something that seems personal (or that the rest of the WebProNews team might disagree with), I tend to default to that editorial "we."

No schizophrenia or royal blood here.
