All I can tell you is this, Wikipedia "did it's worst" on me in January. Getting caught between wheels and politick, all the way up to Arbcom giving me a choice between my permanent health and defending myself, but no allowing me the 5 days I requested to recover from a sudden bout of bronchitis (I have COPD) before presenting my case.

I feel very bitter about it all...saddened by the way that Wikipedia, as a community has decayed into politick and simple bullying...

I was the reason Sam Vaknin decided to attack Wikipedia in the first place, we have a long, acrimonious, and frankly, preposterous, history, and I corrected the misinformation he had put on an article he created about himself, and not only that, I corrected it at least one source from his own writing and one outside source for each correction.

Jimbo Wales supported me in this, so I see no hypocrasy or COI if he did something similar for a personal friend, as long as he did it in a neutral way, and sourced it properly, and I am sure he did.

I am sure because, whatever else goes on on Wikipedia, Jimbo Wales is one of the VERY few people I have ever come across (and I have dealt with him personally several times) who is EXACTLY what he claims to be. He treats people the way he expects to be treated himself, and expects not better treatment for himself than others. He holds himself bound by his own rules as much as he holds anyone else to be.

I have never seen anyone else hold so much influence without abusing it in my life.

He makes mistakes...possibly directly related to him being human? Strangely, I sometimes make mistakes myself, how about you?

And I am very sorry if his marriage is in trouble and even sorrier that leaves him,  and all connected to him,  living in a fishbowl.
